Okay, I love Whole Foods. We are there every week, picking up our favorite gourmet cheeses, deli meats, and much, much more. But when a friend of mine emailed this to me a while back, I was disappointed, and of course, I knew I had to share this with all of you. Will I stop shopping at Whole Foods? No way. I will, however, be reading their store-brand labels with much more scrutiny. Click the arrow and watch this news report:

ReplyDeleteYes, I have been noticing this for the past year and also the same issue exists with the O brand from Safeway-mostly made in China. I think I want to start a chain...Made in USA, USDA Organic, all readable ingredients!!
I too, saw it at Safeway and other stores, but I guess I had not noticed it at Whole Foods because I don't buy many of their store label products, and the ones I do purchase are made here in the USA. I feel better about that...but not about the situation as a whole.
